Forget About Being Forgotten

Usually, I wouldn’t dare post two blogs in the same week. But, today is a little different. This morning, God blessed me. He asked me one question: “What made you think you were excluded?” Excuse me while I go cry some more…

[The LORD answered] “Can a woman forget her nursing child and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.” Isaiah 49:15 AMP

This morning, God had to remind me that He has not forgotten me. And now? Now I remind you. God has not forgotten you!

When We Jump, We Jump High

Don’t be afraid to pursue your God given dreams. When you jump out there, try to reach heaven! Don’t settle for mediocre. God is not mediocre, so our aspirations shouldn’t be either!

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV

So, why are you afraid, again? Go for it. You are able, because God enables you. If you needed confirmation, well, here it is!

Shhhhh!

Have you ever shared something so monumental with someone, and they try to talk you out of that victory? Maybe you shared that you’re starting a business, and they say “I don’t think you should do that.” Or, maybe you’re talking about traveling, and they feed you every reason why you shouldn’t. Well, let today be the day that you say SHHHHHH! Stop letting people talk you out of being YOU.

But, it wouldn’t be fair if I didn’t point out our fault in this. Read this verse from scripture:

“Those who are sure of themselves do not talk all the time. People who stay calm have real insight.” Proverbs 17:27 GNB.

Sometimes, we have to just be quiet. Everything isn’t meant to be shared with everybody. There are some journey’s you’ll have to take with you and God alone.
